Untitled #4. Pencil, 1986 As I began to pass beyond my Boris-like fixation on  literal fusions between animals and humans, I began to experiment with more subtle  blurring of the animal-human line. I've had people look at this picture and say, "But  that's not how they really mate". I know. That is the point.
